The first disadvantage is written as an advantage, and is left that way here

“tools like [these] take little time to learn” is the first item in a list of disadvantages. Taking little time to learn is not a disadvantage.

The sentence was presumably meant to read “take a little time” or “take a long time”. Those two repairs point in opposite directions and the material contains no basis for choosing between them, so it is reproduced as printed and flagged rather than fixed. It is the clearest single defect in the week's notes and it is present in every capture.

Note

The advantage and the disadvantage contradict each other on time

The advantage says the tools offer “quick and easy” access to analysing your data. The disadvantage says “inputting and coding the data can take quite a long time”.

Two things not to carry away from this slide
