§1 Template Overview & Usage

The Stakeholder Register is a critical project management artefact used to document everyone who impacts or is impacted by your project. Effective stakeholder management begins with rigorous identification and clear classification.

By mapping out stakeholders early in the project lifecycle, project managers can tailor their communication strategies, anticipate resistance, and leverage advocacy. This blank template is designed to capture the six essential dimensions of stakeholder analysis.

Classification Guidance: We recommend classifying stakeholders using a standard Power/Interest matrix. Common categorisations include: High Power/High Interest (Manage Closely), High Power/Low Interest (Keep Satisfied), Low Power/High Interest (Keep Informed), and Low Power/Low Interest (Monitor).

§2 The Blank Register

Utilise the table below to catalogue your project stakeholders. Ensure requirements and expectations are validated through direct consultation where possible, rather than assumed.
